We’re Back! Opening Weekend at Baker Farm Starts Saturday, August 29

After a busy off-season filled with improvements around the farm, we’re ready for another season of fresh apples, local favorites, and time spent together in the orchard. Whether Baker Farm is part of your family’s annual tradition or you’re planning your first visit, we can’t wait to see you!

Opening Weekend Apple Picking

Apple season is officially here, and we’re kicking things off with some delicious early-season varieties.

For opening weekend, we’ll be picking Ginger Gold, Gala, Early Macs, and Sansa. Honeycrisp will also be available in the market for those looking to bring home this fall favorite!

From sweet and crisp to perfectly tart, these early apples are a great way to get a head start on apple season. Enjoy them fresh from the tree, pack them in lunches, or bring some home for your favorite apple recipes.

Apple availability changes throughout the season as different varieties ripen, so be sure to check our U-Pick Calendar for the latest updates on what’s ready to pick.

Fresh Favorites in the Market

Be sure to make a stop at the Baker Farm Market while you’re here! We’ll have a selection of jams, salsas, and other jarred favorites, along with fresh-baked goodies.

Look for specialty breads and cookies to take home after your day in the orchard—or enjoy a treat before you leave!

We’ve Been Busy During the Off-Season!

While the orchard was resting, we were busy making improvements around the farm.

Our off-season building updates will allow us to better accommodate our customers as we welcome everyone back for the new season. We’re excited for you to see the changes and enjoy another year at Baker Farm!

Opening Weekend Hours

We officially open Saturday, August 29, 2026.

Saturday & Sunday: 10 AM – 5 PM
Monday–Friday: 11 AM – 6 PM

Please note that Labor Day and Columbus Day hours are 10 AM – 5 PM.
