What’s Picking This Week?

Apple picking season is still going strong at Baker Farm, and we have several delicious varieties available in the orchard.

Plenty of these U-Pick apple varieties are available:

• Crispin
• Golden Delicious
• Fuji
• Granny Smith
• Jonagold

Limited quantities are still available of:

• Empire
• Red Delicious
• Macoun

Whether you’re looking for crisp apples to snack on, something sweet for homemade applesauce, or the perfect variety for baking, there’s still a great selection to enjoy.

Golden Delicious and Fuji are wonderful for eating fresh, while Granny Smith and Crispin are favorites for baking. Jonagold offers a delicious balance of sweet and tart, making it a great all-around apple.

If you love Empire, Red Delicious, or Macoun, be sure to visit soon, as those varieties are becoming limited.

Still need pumpkins for Halloween? We’ve got you covered!

Our U-Pick pumpkin patch is full of pumpkins, and they’re still just $5 each when you pick them yourself!

Bring the family, head out to the patch, and search for the perfect pumpkin. Whether you’re looking for one to carve into a jack-o’-lantern, decorate your porch, or add to your fall display, there are plenty to choose from.

We also have pre-picked pumpkins available for purchase at the farm market if you’d prefer to grab one that’s ready to go.

Please note: The $5 special applies only to pumpkins picked directly from our U-Pick patch. Pre-picked pumpkins at the market are priced separately.

There’s something extra special about choosing your own pumpkin right from the patch, and we love seeing families make it part of their fall traditions!

Our fresh-pressed apple cider is available at the market, perfect for bringing home and enjoying on a chilly autumn day.

And if you’re looking for a refreshing treat while you’re visiting, don’t forget to grab one of our apple cider slushies!

They’re a favorite with visitors of all ages and a delicious way to enjoy the flavors of apple season.
